Mobile Chewing Gum Removal
We have taken our tried and tested 230 volt machine and disassembled it's components to fit it into a compact moveable chassis with electrically powered wheels.
The unit is able to hold fuel, water and cleaning chemicals for a ten hour shift, during which a single operative can remove over 6000 pieces of gum.
How does it Work?
A Kubota engine with a Mecc-Alte alternator provides the electrical power, supplying 3000kw to the steam element, power to propel the vehicle and lighting that lasts for hours.
This hybrid vehicle even charges itself in use, so no time is lost recharging batteries.
The enclosure has been soundproofed (maximum 80 decibels) so night works are not an issue anymore, and the unit includes LED and UV lights which highlight gum deposits in low light conditions, whilst the orange hazard lights warn any passing pedestrians of ongoing works.
A simple joystick control provides ease of movement and eliminates handling and weight restriction issues.
As the unit is quiet, uses only 2 litres of water per hour and is completely Heath and Safety compliant, it is likely that the unit will be approved for daytime usage (outside peak hours).
